This project demanded a careful analysis to successfully exploit all the incredible features of the property. From the beginning, we selected a clean design line that would facilitate the ocean views to the west and to the south, and that would integrate the abundant nature surrounding the building pad. The house layout extends from east to west, integrating with the topography levels. A large tree on the north side became a central axis of the project where we designed open spaces such as the BBQ area, balconies and outdoor showers. We extended a balcony that overhangs between two big trees to the east side, becoming a space for refuge from the heat in the afternoon. The terrace and the pool were designed to exploit the sunset and ocean views. The living room opens 180 degrees through glass doors, integrating with terraces and gardens. We added built-in Cabanas on the south side of the pool, becoming crucial to enjoy some shade in the afternoon. The master bedroom was visualized is an observation den with 180 degrees views, with wooden louvers and long roof overhangs to protect it from the rain and the sun. Every area of the house was designed in detail to create this boutique experience.
